Delta in his SUPERDOGGO pose |
Unfortunately, my mother has a fear of dogs. When I asked my parents to get me a puppy, I was told he would poop and pee around the house and my mother would have to clean it as I was too young to take the responsibility of a fellow-creature on my tiny shoulders.
Years passed. Life became busier. Getting a puppy
The year 2018 was very stressful for me. I was in a car crash in the month of July. I was facing difficulties in my personal
The rescue stories start in November of 2018, I came to know that a litter of puppies were freezing in the cold just outside the hostel we used to live in. When we saw them, there were 5 pups in total. All of them were playing despite

On the third night, he seemed like he was starving and malnourished, but due to his extreme fear, he would not come out to eat. That's when my husband and I realized that he would not make it to the next day without our help. Thus we brought Alpha in.

I wrapped his tiny body up in anything I could find. He was shivering so bad. I stayed up with him all night trying to get him to eat. Finally, towards the wee hours of the next morning, he drank some milk. That gave us hope for his survival and we realized that our temporary house guest had become a permanent family member. He was and will always be our first son.

Now, when we reminisce about our time before Alpha and Delta, life just seems so incomplete. It's as if there was a missing piece in the puzzle and Alpha and Delta completed it.
When I got Delta, he was such a tiny thing. I made sweaters for him by cutting up my ankle length socks. As it was winter, I would make him wear two sweaters together. He did not even know how to drink water on his own. I had to dropper feed him water and milk every hour for around a week. I got a packet of colostrum which is a special milk for puppies (has all the essential nutrients which a mother's milk can provide to the pup). The only thing he really knew was to sleep stuck to me. He liked to lay close to my face.
A few days after I brought him in, he seemed to have fever . I did not know of any good vets in my area. I stayed awake the whole night, scared and praying that Delta be all right. I kept him stuck to my body the entire night. I was so worried. I kept checking his paws and ears. If the paws and ears are overly warm, its an indication of fever in dogs . It was one tough night. However, my brave boy pulled through, all hail and hearty. That was the moment I realized, I would do anything to keep him safe.
used to poop four times a day. Alpha would shiver uncontrollably in the cold outside, no matter how many sweaters I'd bury him in, while Delta's nose would start running. Thus, potty training them or taking them outside was out of the question. I would wake up in the morning, clean poop and pee, give them breakfast, leave for work, come back during lunchtime to clean poop and pee, feed them lunch, again leave for work then repeat the process twice in the evening. Suddenly, I had gone from being a carefree person to a full time maid.

But things never really go as planned. We had imagined 10-15 years with Alpha and Delta.
However, our happy bubble did not last long. At four months of age, Alpha suddenly stopped eating. I tried changing his food, gave him chicken, eggs, everything that he loved to eat. But he would not even sniff it.
He would just sleep on the bed. If Delta tried to offer any comfort, he would

I was always skeptical about something bad happening. Life was just too good to be true. I had everything I had ever dreamed of. However, good dreams don’t last long. The night Alpha passed away, I dreamt he was healthy and with us. I woke up looking for him. But he was not there. We kept going to places where we would take Alpha for walks. I kept hoping to see him again even though I knew that he had crossed the rainbow bridge. I kept feeling l
Delta turned out to be an amazing support system for both my husband and I. The moment he’d sense our sadness, he would come over and give us hugs and kisses.
Alpha is in doggie heaven with his new friends. I know he is my guardian angel above and Delta is my guardian angel here. Our rescue stories may not have had a happy ending. However, Delta gives me courage and and hope that tomorrow will be better than yesterday.
Rest in peace Alpha.

Alpha has taught me so much and I want to honor him whichever way I can. My kids are the reason I chose to become a dog blogger and dog youtuber in the first place. Now, I take care of 15 dogs in my region. Everything I do, it is to make my Alpha proud and to honor him. Rest in

In honor of our first son, Alpha
You saved me when I was down on luck
I saved you when u were badly stuck
I followed you like a shadow
Picking you up when u felt low
I simply loved your socks
Always stole them like a little fox
Every time gave you kisses and mlerms
My life was filled with so many gems
A playful brother Delta I had
Took my butt slams like a champion lad
Every night we played before bed time
Till you grabbed us and said, it's light out time
Slept like a carefree pup with you around
You too tried to never make a sound
Always said...'See that blanket in a heap?
That's our son, Alpha preserving his body heat.'
You gave me a strong name
Thought, I will rise to its fame
Sorry, I couldn't keep my promise to you
What to do, the reaper said, 'Son, it's time for you to go'
I miss you too, you know
But life was just too hard, I hope u know
But I haven't been able to leave you
Couldn't make myself to do so
I am right behind you, that gentle breeze
I m in the eyes of the dogs you feed
When you call my name, 'Alpha' and they look up
Do you realis?? It's me, your sweet little pup
I may not be there with you
But I am fiercely watching over you
I will protect you, whether with you or not
All who hurt you, I will make them rot.
I am free from the suffering, the pain
I have lots of friends in this plain
But the love I feel for you
I will always send...from me to you
Love you momma
Yours
Alpha
